Simandou Iron Mine – Workers Accommodation Camps / Guinea – 23 Different Regions
The Simandou mine is a large iron mine located in the range of hills called Simandou in the Nzérékoré Region of South Guinea. It has one of the largest iron reserves in the world with 2.4 billion tons of iron ore. The construction of modular container units and life support units were completed at 23 different points along the Simandou under difficult geographical conditions.
